Spanish Fort businessman’s murder being featured June 5 on Discovery Channel
















SPANISH FORT, Ala.—Investigation Discovery will air an in-depth examination of the Bobby Wilson murder investigation beginning at 9 p.m. June 5.


"On the Case with Paula Zahn" will delve into the details of one of Spanish Fort’s highest-profile homicides as "told from the perspectives of his closest friends and relatives."

The Discovery Channel crew set up shop in Baldwin and Mobile counties in late March, talking to both friends and relatives of the late Arthur "Bobby" Wilson and Leslie Eric Buzbee, the man tried three times but ultimately acquitted in Wilson’s 2007 beating death.

Wilson, 71, was beaten and robbed inside his Spanish Fort service station in 2007 and died four months later. The case remains open.

The Discovery Channel can be found at channel 285 on Direct TV, channel 192 on Dish Network and channel 29 on Mediacom.
