Secretary arrested for stealing pills

BALDWIN COUNTY, Alabama  - The administrative secretary for the Baldwin County Coroner's Office is charged with stealing prescription pills from work. Deputies tell us Donna Taylor was searched and arrested as she left the office late Thursday.
Coroner Stanley Vinson contacted the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office last week, and asked the Drug Task Force to investigate Taylor immediately for possible wrong doing. Deputies then began an undercover operation.
DTF agents stopped Taylor as she left the coroner's office late Thursday. Agents searched Taylor's purse and reported they found "marked" prescription pills and a small quantity of crystal meth.
Taylor is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and theft of property second degree. she is being held in the Baldwin County Jail on $16,000 bond.
