ELMORE COUNTY – A Wetumpka man is alive after he says a twist of fate saved his life - he saw the Alabama Department of Public Safety Click it or Ticket PSA and decided to wear his seat belt for a change.
Kevin Kelly of Wetumpka admitted to troopers that he normally doesn’t wear a seat belt - he told them that on the scene of the horrendous head-on crash that he had miraculously survived. Kelly had a change of mind earlier that morning after listening to the Click it or Ticket PSA, and decided to buckle-up, which saved his life.
Kelly. who was driving the red truck, walked away with minor bruises and scratches.
When the troopers arrived at the crash scene they were surprised to see Kelly without any injuries, considering the damage of the vehicles involved in the collision.
