AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn's football national championship team's visit to the White House is set.
The White House announced Thursday that the Tigers will be guests of President Barack Obama on Friday, April 29.
Obama will honor coach Gene Chizik and his players with remarks and then pose for a photo.
Then, the Tigers will participate in a "Let's Move!" South Lawn Series Youth Football Clinic.
Auburn travels to Washington D.C. on Thursday evening and returns Friday afternoon.
The Tigers rode Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Cam Newton to a 14-0 record, including a win over Oregon in the BCS national championship game.
