Alabama tornadoes: Facebook page set up as lost and found for items blown away in storms

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- A facebook page has been set up for people to submit photos of items they found in the wake of Wednesday's tornadoes in central and north Alabama.

At 12:30 p.m., 44 photos had been posted to the site, and several had been identified by their owners. Childhood photos, old tax documents and even a T-shirt from a family reunion are among the items posted on the site. A Tuscaloosa parking pass was found by a young boy in Gadsden. Someone near Athens found a  baptismal certificate from a church in Hackleburg, where emergency officials are now searching rubble for survivors, as well as an old family photo of a woman with the same last name.

The site has turned into more than just a place to post photos, as people from across the state go there to offer prayers for people affected by the storm or seek information about making donations.

The site is "Pictures and Documents found after the April 27, 2011 Tornadoes."
