COTTONDALE, Alabama — An Alabama company has won a contract to supply components for the C-Class Mercedes in a deal that's expected to mean 185 new jobs.
Gov. Robert Bentley is expected to join with join representatives from Mercedes-Benz U.S. International on Wednesday for the announcement in Cottondale. Officials are withholding the name of the Alabama company until the 3 p.m. CDT announcement.
Officials say the company has previously supplied interior parts for Mercedes M-Class and R-Class vehicles.
