Fla. Welfare Drug-Test Law Goes Into Effect

 

 

 

(PENSACOLA, Fla.) - Welfare applicants in Florida will now have to undergo mandatory drug testing before they can receive benefits.

A law requiring the tests went into effect Friday.

Applicants will have to pay for the tests themselves. They will be reimbursed if they pass.
