DAUPHIN ISLAND, Alabama -- U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder visited Dauphin Island this morning to meet with local officials and residents affected by the BP oil spill.
Holder met with a group of fishermen at the Alabama Marine Resources and Conservation headquarters on Dauphin Island. The 30-minute meeting was closed to reporters.
Holder was scheduled to make a boat trip across Mobile Bay and meet U.S. Rep. Jo Bonner and Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange for lunch in Gulf Shores. See AL.com for updates today.
