ANDALUSIA, Alabama --
WTVY in Dothan confirms a plane has crashed at the South Alabama Regional Airport this evening, killing the pilot.
The station quotes Covington County Chief Deputy David Anderson in reporting the crash three-quarters of a mile from the runway in a densely wooded area.
WTVY says the call came to emergency crews at 5 p.m.
