(BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala.) - Parole has been denied for a mother who drowned her newborn infant and buried him in the backyard.
Marsha Colby is serving a 15 year manslaughter sentence. She killed her son back in 2005. She was convicted of capital murder, but the case was overturned.
Last year, just before a new trial was to begin, Colby pleaded guilty to manslaughter. She will be eligible for another parole hearing in a year.
