Hundreds Gather To Pray For Daphne Teen Sunday

A prayer vigil was held Sunday night in Daphne for Daniel DiNardi. DiNardi was struck by a garbage truck while riding his bike home from summer school on Thursday afternoon. Friends and family members hope Daniel returns home soon.

DAPHNE, Alabama - A prayer vigil was held Sunday night in Daphne for Daniel DiNardi. DiNardi was struck by a garbage truck while riding his bike home from summer school on Thursday afternoon. The accident happened at the intersection of County Road 13 and County Road 64 in Daphne. He has been in the hospital for over 72 hours and his mother, Paula, continues to ask the community for their prayers.

On Sunday night about a hundred friends and family members attended the vigil at the football stadium on the campus of Daphne High School. People spoke about Daniel's positive outlook on life and how they enjoy his company.

It is clear that Daniel DiNardi is loved by many across our area, and everyone hopes he comes home soon.

Daniel remains in critical condition at USA Medical Center in Mobile.
