TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - One player was dismissed and 2 others suspended indefinitely, Alabama coach Nick Saban announced Tuesday.

Robby Green (6-0, 184) a senior defensive back, was dismissed after a turbulent stay with the Crimson Tide. He was was deemed ineligible by the NCAA for the 2010 season, then suspended by Alabama for the entire spring.

Darrington Sentimore and Keiwone Malone were suspended indefinitely after both participated in spring practice.

"Keiwone Malone and Darrington Sentimore have been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules and policy," Saban said in a statement.
No reasons were given for their punishments.

Sentimore (6-3, 273) is a redshirt sophomore competing for playing time on the defensive line. He played in 11 games last season and finished with 9 tackles.

Malone (5-11, 165) is a redshirt freshman, and was expected to compete for playing time this season.

Green's departure is the fifth since the 2010 season ended.

Others include B.J. Scott (transfer to South Alabama), Demetrius Goode (transfer to North Alabama) and Petey Smith (Holmes Community College).

Corey Grant left the program, and it was learned earlier this week he would transfer to rival Auburn.
