Police: Mother Arrested at WalMart for Leaving Kids Alone in Car

(SARALAND, Ala.) - Saraland Police say a woman is charged with endangering the welfare of a child after leaving her two small children alone in an unlocked car while she was inside WalMart.

Brittany G. White, 23, was arrested Friday afternoon after someone reported the incident to police.  They say the children, ages 2 and 4, were alone inside the unlocked, running car for about 50 minutes. 

White was arrested and transported to Saraland Police Department. The children were turned over to a relative.
