Obama goes to New York to honor 9/11 victims after bin Laden death

Ground Zero Obama
NEW YORK — President Barack Obama has arrived in New York for a solemn visit to Ground Zero where he will try to bury the memory of Osama bin Laden by honoring those who died in the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
Obama is will hold private talks with 9/11 families and first responders and lay a wreath at the 9/11 memorial as he seeks to let New York have it's a memorial moment uniquely its own.
Obama's visit comes as new details emerge of Sunday's daring raid on bin Laden's Pakistan compound. A senior defense official said today that only one of the five people killed in the raid was armed and fired a shot — an account that differs greatly from original administration portrayals of an intense firefight.
