Mariah Carey gives birth to twins

NEW YORK (CNN) – Singer Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon celebrated their third wedding anniversary with the birth of their twin son and daughter.
The twins were born Saturday morning in Los Angeles according to Carey's spokeswoman. The girl was born first, weighing five pounds, three ounces. The little boy weighed in at five pounds, six ounces.
The spokeswoman says the new parents are "completely overjoyed, and feel totally blessed."
The couple has not released the babies' names.
