Lake Forest resident helps Daphne police catch burglary suspect

DAPHNE, Ala.—A Lake Forest resident witnessed a man sneaking around Daphne’s largest subdivision going through yards and entering vehicles early Friday morning.

Bryan Keith Headrick, 21, of Daphne reportedly was caught in the act of stealing from several Lake Forest residents, police said.
The concerned resident contacted Daphne police. The resident didn’t consider his work done, though. He kept an eye on the suspected burglar until the police arrived so he could direct police to his current location.

When police arrived, Bryan Keith Hendrick, 21, of Daphne, ran from police and was found to be in possession of stolen property when apprehended, Daphne police reported. Hendrick also confessed to stealing property from three vehicles in the Lake Forest area, police said.

Hendrick was arrested and charged with three counts of unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

An investigation is ongoing.
