(MOBILE, Ala.) - Police at the University of South Alabama say two people were robbed at gunpoint around 1:15 a.m. near Building 9 of The Grove housing complex at the corner of Old Shell and Hillcrest roads.
Police say the victims were in the parking lot this morning when four men drove up in a gold or tan sedan. Two of the men got out of the car, asked the victims for a light for a cigarette and drew pistols.
The two robbers were described as approximately six feet tall and 160 pounds. Both were wearing white tee shirts and blue jeans. One had short cropped hair and the other wore dreadlocks.
USA police urge students to report any suspicious activity or individuals on campus by calling their office at 460-6312.
