Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley opens call center for storm victims


Governor Robert Bentley has activated a Governor's Recovery Response Center as a central resource to help people get information and resources in the aftermath of the deadly storms.
   Alabamians with questions regarding state government assistance can call the toll free number, 866-465-2241 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              866-465-2241      end_of_the_skype_highlighting, and speak directly with someone who can help assist them with their needs.  Calls will be answered daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  People who wish to volunteer their time or make donations can volunteer through the Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives at 877-273-5018 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              877-273-5018      end_of_the_skype_highlighting or www.servealabama.gov.
  "I have established the recovery response call center to help ease the burden facing those in the affected areas," Bentley said.
